SYNTHETIC

See the fields before you ship the test.

Generate a batch to inspect the first address, copy individual fields and download every row.

Town + outward code: public dataStreet + inward code: synthetic

Format fixtures, not verified delivery addresses. Town and outward code come from GeoNames. Street, house number, flat and inward code are synthetic. A sample may coincide with a real address; it is not an address lookup or proof of tax exemption.

TEST THE FORM, KNOW THE LIMITS

One address. Three different checks.

Choose the right fixture for the behaviour you are testing.

01

Field layout

Copy line 1, optional line 2, town and postcode into your checkout or demo. Region is a UK constituent country, not a verified postal county.

02

Format validation

Test uppercase postcodes, the space before the last three characters, empty line 2 and longer town names. JSON and CSV keep the same field values.

FAQ

No complete address is verified. Town and outward postcode come from public GeoNames records. Street, house number, optional flat and inward postcode are synthetic. The result is for format testing and may coincide with a real address; it is not a delivery or address-lookup result.

Keep the seed, town selection, row count, line 2 setting, fixture version and dataset version unchanged. Generate again to get identical address fields. JSON includes these settings; changing the dataset can change the result.

Both contain address_line_1, address_line_2, town, region, postcode, country and country_code. JSON also includes the seed, data version, settings and synthetic-field metadata. CSV is UTF-8 with quoted text fields. No names, phone numbers, mailbox credentials or personal records are included.

Use the form’s documented mapping. The region field here is England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland; it is not a verified postal county. Royal Mail says county information is not needed for postal purposes. Test optional and required field behaviour separately.

A generated address or postcode is not evidence of tax exemption. Use your actual billing and delivery details for purchases. This tool supplies synthetic test fixtures, not an address registration, forwarding, tax or identity service.
